This is it! The 31st day of the month – where did it go? I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. here are the stats:

31 videos.

Over 2 hours of video content.

Dozens of questions answered.

Oodles of fun! Thanks for doing this with me!

Today I answer that burning question I’ve promised to answer all month:

Will you give us a tour of your scrapbook room?

It’s messy, but it’s mine!

Thanks for sharing, Laine! The alex drawers look perfect for scrap supply storage.  This was a really fun blog series!

  • Lainehmann

Yes, LOVE the Alex drawers. Thanks for watching, Ginny! :)

Really, really enjoyed this series ~ you gave me lots of tips and things to think about ~ thanks!!

That was fun! Wish I could use the Alex carts instead of my plastic iris carts, but I’m gonna work with what I have :D
Isn’t having room enough to share your space cool? That’s one of the things I’m really digging here.

Thanks Lain!  Loved watching these each day!  Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas and inspiration!  Looking forward to more.

  • Kris Van Allen

THank you so much for sharing! And for real life sharing….I love to look at those perfect room photos, but I would also like to see how they really work, and you showed that. I have the same idea desk that your computer sits on, and love it! Now I need to gt some of those Alex drawer sets….that’s how I like my punches too.

I am sad that daily july videos are over!

Awesome job this month, Lain!  Love seeing where the magic happens!  (And I’m glad you didn’t clean too much!  Makes it feel like home!)

  • Danielle_nl

Thanks Lain for showing your room to us. It’s a lovely place! I have Alex cabinet too and love it. I think IKEA should have a scrapbookers section in the stores.

You did a great job with all these videos!

hi lain!  thanks for showing a tour of your room and all of the videos throughout the month!  … so fun and much appreciated!  where did you get your “tower of embellishments” … i think that would be a great fit for my scraproom.   the whole series was great but i am soooo sooo happy you touched on backing up photos because i have never heard of the picture keeper until you introduced it.  and i am learning my lesson the hard way with 12,000 pictures trapped on a laptop with a broken spindle.  :(

  • Janet

Love your scrap space, love this video series and I LOVE that you are so Generous and Kind to inspire others. You ROCK LAIN! And you know that I think you are a complete DOLL!
Can’t wait for True Scrap 4….woooooo hoooooooooo!

  • Barb in AK

What a lovely HUGE space.  I count myself so lucky to be able to have a designated scraproom, but it is definitely tiny :-)  Oh well, we work with what we have :-)    I’ve just LOVED your 31 days.  I’ve learned so much and enjoyed seeing your happy face each day (well minus one, when Callie presented) :-)   I hope  this will become an annual event.

  • amyptucson

Would you share how you organize your patterned paper? (The PPs that don’t get their own branded Iris boxes, that is)

  • Lainehmann

Hey MJ! It was from IKEA, the same line as the Alex drawer.

  • Lainehmann

That is a FANTASTIC idea. ;)

  • Lainehmann

    Will do! Stay tuned!

  • Lainehmann

Thank you, Barb! I DID scrap in a closet for years. ;) I will definitely do this again!

  • Lainehmann

THANK YOU Janet! I really enjoyed it. It was a blast. I’m excited about TS4 too — sneak peeks coming soon!

  • Lainehmann

Thanks, KP! :) I figured I’d make others feel better. Haha!

  • Lainehmann

Kris, thank you so much for watching! I’ve really enjoyed this. More coming soon!

  • Lainehmann

    You are so welcome. :)

  • Lainehmann

Just take your time – I have plenty of those iris bins and carts! :)

  • Lainehmann

    Thank YOU, Susan!

  • Deborah

Hi Lain! Thanks for all the videos, I learned so much and got myself thinking in different directions, which is always good! This Dec. my son is getting married and I am going to take over his bedroom for my scrapbook room. I am glad for your advice to use what I have and live in it for a while before making a purchase because I wanted to buy bookshelves, drawers etc. but worried they wouldn’t be right. Now I realize there is no need to hurry. Thank you. I also get to repaint and wondered if you remember the name of the lovely color in your room?

  • Lynnette

Hey Lain…thanks for a fun-filled month of great tips and information.  Of the many things I love about you, the #1 thing would be how you are so genuine and REAL.  You, the scrapbooking guru, have a room with piles and kid stuff and an eclectic mix of furniture.  I love how you sometimes video-ed yourself all put together with make-up and hair done and sometimes just after your workout.    You truly represent the everyday scrapper who’s trying to  document memories while living life.  Thank you for being YOU!  xoxoxo

  • Carol in the Land of Oz

Did I miss them–where are your photos?

  • DragonsLady (aka Francine)

Wow!  A whole attic to scrap and create in.  I’ve got a room but you have much more room than I do. You’ve also given me a few ideas that may work out.  thanks for showing us yours.

  • SueTR

    Hi Lain!
Thanks for the great tour! What fun to have such a nice spacious room. My current space is small (I seem to be going in the opposite direction smaller I/o larger!). But it’s bright and near the girls who will come in and start crafting with me do it’s perfect as far as that goes!!

How do you find vertical paper storage? I have my solids in horizontal trays which is working great but thinking of going the other way for pp

    Keep up the inspiration!!

  • fawnie_r

Thanks for sharing your space. I love to see how and where others create. I’m in the final stages of my room re-org and I’m always looking for inspiration. Great space!
