Great Gifts for Scrapbookers #8: Journaling Pens

This week, I’m listing some fab gift ideas for the scrapbooker in your life — maybe yourself! Pass on the link to your loved ones, or scoop up one and wrap it up as a present to that all-important person: YOU! (Read on to see how you can treat yourself AND someone else!)

I am an office supply junkie. Paper, pens, paperclips, notebooks, calendars, organizers… you name it! It’s definitely an addiction! That was why I was thrilled when Jetpens.com sent me a sample of writing implements to use and review (you can check out my full review here: Best Pens for Scrapbooking).

Pens make great stocking-stuffers, and you don’t have to worry about if they’ll fit, if they’re the right color, or if the recipient already has one just like it (the more, the merrier, I always say!).

Here are some of my recommendations:

Uni-ball Signo Angelic Gel Ink Pen – 0.7mm – Violet ink.

Uni-ball Signo UM-100 Gel Ink Pen – 0.5mm – black

Uni-ball Signo Broad UM-153 Gel Pen – Gold Ink

Uni-ball Signo Broad UM-153 Gel Pen – White Ink

Pilot Envelope Address Writing Gel Ink Pen – Fine

Maybe the best part, though, is that you can scoop up ALL of these for less than $10. Fantastic!

Check out JetPens and grab some cool writing tools for yourself, or someone you love (you can always borrow them).

P.S. The folks at JetPens have offered a $25 gift card to one of my readers! All you have to do is head over to their site, pick a pen you’d love to have, and come back here to tell me about it. Contest closes Monday, December 13, at 12 Midnight eastern.

P.P.S. Did you miss my other entries in the Scrapbooker’s Christmas List?

I am dying to try those Sakura souffle pens so this would be the perfect opportunity! :)

  • DaniNYC12677

I love love love the Sakura Gelly Roll pens would love lots of colors to add to my collection!

  • Racheldallaire

I have heard amazing things about the envelope address writing pen. :-)

  • Joanie

The Lamy extendable ball point pen is a cool idea. It could fit easily in your pocket whereas a long pen would not.

  • Jdaloisio

So cool- I love pens :)

  • MSDragonfly

I’m such a sucker for Fountain pens! I love the feel of it… just nothing better. And Pilot’s Capless is one I’ve been wanting to add to my collection for a while! But I’m thinking a pink Ohto Tasche fountain pen would be a good (and more affordable) addition, as well!

  • Skgberry

I love the white Uni-Ball, but could be persuaded (as another office supply junkie) to branch out. I love fountain pens too and they have some inexpensive ones I would not be afraid to carry around and not be worried about losing.

  • Debd94

My husband would love to receive this gift certificate. He loves jetpens!

  • Michellefiori

My favorite Pen is the uniball signo pens. I pretty much love them all!!

  • Jeannett_mcgee

I like the Dong-A Popcorn Puffy Paint Pens, they just look like a lot of fun to play with. Thanks, all the pens look great.

  • Gidget99

Wow! Eyecandy for me! I have found a new source for my beloved 3 and 4-color ballpoint pens. I didn’t know Uniball made them. I had bought some from Zebra when i was a Japan and have run out of my supply! Thanks!

  • LCSmithSAVED

looking for a good white pen – Penpedia on the Jetpens site shows a good comparison – liked the Uni-ball Signo Broad

  • Heather P. – scrapmomto3

I love love LOVE my uni-ball signo broad white… Having the silver (especially for this time of year) would be AWESOME! Thanks Lain!

  • Joscelyne

I just ordered a bunch of cute pens, pencils, erasers this month from jet pens but there are always more goodies! I love the fountain pen, the envelope pens, and the erasable pens i got.

  • Pat

I would get the Uniball Signo Bit pens in lots of colors, but those Style Slims look awfully cool too!

  • Janet

I am loving the Ohto Tasche needle point pen with a sleek, pink (and therefore all mine) body. Such a statement I’d make :-)

  • karen keiper

well I was a stationery girl before i became a scrapbboking girl so this was a very difficult decision!!!! I think I would choose the sakura souffle gel pens.

  • Heather S.

    Thanks for sharing this.

I could use some new pens. Most of mine are tired. I’m always searching for the basics, a good white pen that can write on dark cardstock and look crisp, and a black pen as a go-to for journaling. Fun colors would be good too. :-)
