LOAD Affiliate Program Promotion Tips
Ten Top Tips for Being a Great Affiliate (and Making Oodles of Money!)
1. Be honest! Tell people what you love about the product or course. For instance, if you’re a LOAD veteran, write a blog post about how LOAD changed your life, and why you’re taking part again. Make sure to include your unique code to link people back to the sign-up page!
2. Promote frequently! We often think we can’t mention the same product or course more than once or we’ll seem “pushy.” But particularly on social medial like Facebook or Twitter, people will not read everything you write! (Do your kids listen to everything you say? Of course not! Point proven.) You can mention something several times, in several different ways. For instance, write a blog post about why you’re going to sign up. Then tweet that you signed up. Mention it on your Facebook page. Then maybe a week or so later, write a follow-up post about how you’re preparing for the class or challenge. Keep it natural, have fun, and be yourself!
3. Use images. Use graphics, such as the LOAD button, and link back to the sign-up page using your unique code. For instructions on how to adapt a graphic so it’s clickable with YOUR code, check out my tutorial: Adding Your Code to a Graphic.
4. Think outside the box. You’re not limited to text to promote LOAD 211 or any other Layout a Day program. Create your own audio, make a layout about it, record a video… the more creative you are, the more your efforts will pay off.
5. Ask! If there’s something I can do to help you promote the programs, let me know! I’m happy to write a guest blog post, give you a video or audio you can use on your blog, create tweets you can cut and paste… just let me know what will help, and I’ll see if I can assist.
