Send to KindleI got to chatting with some folks on Twitter last week about my dislike of square buttons (long story). That devolved into a discussion of buttons in general, and as they are one of my favorite scrapbooking supplies, I had a lot to say on the subject! I was asked about how I create my own embellished buttons, and today’s post is just one of the simple simple SIMPLE ways you can jazz up your buttons. Check out the video and then read on for more!
Here’s a close-up of the layout I created with the buttons. I have to admit, it was a bit strange to try to create a layout around three buttons!
And a close-up of the buttons themselves:
Here are some of the products I used:
Sakura Gel Souffle Pen in White
American Crafts Essentials buttons
Patterned paper is Scenic Route (sad face)
Bakers Twine is from Divine Twine
P.S. Do you like buttons? Square? Round? Do you have to add thread or are you okay with “naked” buttons? Do tell!
