Catching Up – Sorta Kinda

by Lain Ehmann on December 19, 2011

You know I don’t really believe in getting “caught up,” per se, but I do have some photos to show you of my December Daily “People I Love” album:

This is my good friend Heather who lives in California. We aren’t really in touch anymore, and I really miss her:

Here is one of my best friends from high school. We still see each other several times a year, and she’s now my mom’s doctor. Wow, eh?

This is my former sister-in-law, who is still very much a part of my life and heart:

This is one of my best friends here in Boston. We met when our kids started playing together at the PlaySpace at the mall when we were both pregnant with our now-eleven-year-olds:

This is one of my good friends from California who now lives in the UK. She is Kinsey’s godmother:

Here is my nephew Ford when he was just a week lad:

These fine folks are my good group of friends from California. Neel, on the left, is my oldest friend (we met in first grade). I’ve been friends with the other three since junior high!

This is going to end the updates for a while. I’m taking a break for Christmas and traveling and such. But creating this album has been so therapeutic and meaningful – I see how many people have made a difference in my life, and I have an amazing collection of pages of them. I may travel with this little album whenever I have to go away from home! It reminds me that there are people all over the world who are holding me in their hearts, just as I’m holding them.

If you haven’t created an album like this, there’s no better time. It’s truly a moving experience.

P.S. If I don’t talk to you until after the big holiday, MERRY CHRISTMAS. We are blessed.

I hope to do a scrapbook based on the idea of people I love..great idea! Love your pages!

These pages are so great….what size are they? They look smaller than 8×10. I have never used any other size than 12X12 and I think it is about time I try mini albums or other formats like 8X8 or others. As always I love your pages and get great inspiration from your creations. Thanks again for sharing and have a great Holiday Season.
