Interesting… I thought it was going to be scrapbook about a holiday. But this is more interesting, use holiday themed stuff. I guess I will pull out my Christmas themed stash and get to work.

Glad it wasn’t going to be a holiday page because I don’t think I have any holiday photos printed out and would have to run out later to do so. :) I know I’ll use Halloween papers…I love black and orange together.

d’oh! I did this yesterday! With a last minute page about Harry Potter. Hmm… I think I’ll see what I can use my Christmas paper for.

I am definitely a “moments” scrapper, not a holiday scrapper, but I collect Christmas- and Halloween-themed products, anyway. I have an ongoing Halloween album that uses about 3 inches of Halloween paper per page, and yet I have about 50 sheets of Halloween paper. (Why?!) I also have a small stash of Christmas-themed paper but I almost never scrap our “Christmas” photos. This is so weird. I never would have thought about that without the prompt. Thanks, Lain!

Looking forward to pulling out that stash and putting it to non-trad use!

I have tons of holiday themed paper from when I used to scrapbook 8 yrs ago! It’s all very cutesy. Look out! I’m bringing on the cheese!

I have so few event photos! I’m so busy doing everything else during those times I’m sure my kids will be convinced they never had a birthday party, Halloween or Christmas ever!

Nice twist. I too have plenty of Halloween paper and bits. We love that Halloween falls on Nevada Day; no school growing up. I do take pix now with “moments” in mind more than the event. Just yesterday, during our Mother’s Day activites, I was more determined to get the relationships on camera than the event stuff.

Well then….. I want you to know that I am so far away from being a themed scrapbooker that I am LOVING this challenge!!!

Wow, I found something scrapbook related I am NOT obsessed with or have too much of!! In fact, I have nothing to use today. I do have some Christmas but I am saving it (because I love it) for our 2010 December Daily (Ali Edwards. So some LOM “homework” for me today. I am, however, obsessed with pattern paper and stamps! ; )

Seriously! I am a day ahead of this prompt again – ugh! Last night I used Halloween paper on my Tower of Terror page! Too funny! Probably won’t be able to pull that off again tonight but maybe……

I’m just starting to get serious about scrapbooking. I do have a Christmas scrapbook that I started a long time ago. I want to update it. AND, I’ve been thinking of doing a book of birthdays — my “kids” are 19, 23 & 26. I have lots of pictures to use though. Love birthdays!

I love doing theme albums for the holidays!!

When I started scrapping in 2002, I learned the “chronological event death-roll” system. I was scrapping events mainly. Then one day, while trying to do ANOTHER CHRISTMAS PAGE, I simply froze. I could not do it.
After a while, I was feeling antzy and stressed about my scrapbooking. I began reading Simple Scrapbooks and immediately felt some relief. After a couple of years of following the SS crew, I signed up for Stacy Julian’s Library of Memories. WHOA. It totally changed the way I scrapbo0k. I can literally put my hands on any picture I own in 15 minutes or less now.
So, back to Christmas and theme products. Yes, I use whatever I like wherever I like now.
