Apparently I have no style ;) Honestly I’m not drawn to any of them… I have some paper/embellies from Cosmo Cricket, My Mind’s Eye, BasicGrey, Jillibean Soup and Reminisce but what I like from each of them is very limited to the more subtle designs and colors for the most part.

Sure occasionally I get something with brighter/more color than usual, and a design that is really busy but usually I have the boring subtle colors closer to neutral.

If this was all the paper left in the world I would have to go with the BG…but reluctantly. Yeah I’m weird LOL

I think i could maybe have written Betty’s comment, i am a more earth tone type of person but use whatever goes with the pics.

When i look at te papers, i’m not really excited about any of them, I prefer the same ones as Betty except maybe Reminisce (not my color), My Mind’s Eye is very nice but not sure what to do with these type of papers as i generally use more than one picture and it seems a shame to cover the beautiful pattern.

Maybe i over analyze (my DH says i do) as i’m looking at each one and neither have a love or hate for them i’m trying to figure out where i would use that type of paper, I may like the pattern but not the color, or i may like the color but not sure how i would use the pattern, a whole page or just a bit.

Guess Betty and i are in the same boat. LOL

I’d use the KI, Jillibean, BG, and Luxe for scrapping. I’d love the MME, MM, and Hambly for some sort of wall art or altered project. I like Cinzia, Paislee Press, Vicki Stegall’s digital patterns (to name a few….there are soloist many faves)

Soloist. LOL. Soloist = sooooo on my Droid keyboard. Ha!

My tastes are eclectic too. I guess I’m structured in my design but whimsical with patterns.

I liked the American Crafts immediately and could see myself using the Jillybean Soup and Basic Grey. I have that sheet from My Mind’s Eye and have passed it over several times so far, but I do want to use it on one of those days when I’m not feeling so linear. I could see myself highlighting the leaves with stickles and would likely make it a one-photo page (which normally is contrary to my nature).

The only one I don’t like is the KI Memories. I could see myself use each and everyone of the others.

    AC,KI and Luxe Design.

MME always grabs my attention. I like their color combos. American Crafts too. And maybe Cosmo Cricket. I almost always cut my patterned paper up first and store it in color sorted drawers. Once I cut it, I am not so attached to the whole design and find i use it up more. I would cut the MMW into a 9×12 or 6×12 and start there with cardstock.

I love polka dots and I love patterned paper if the patter is small. I”m not one for big bold patterned paper. Once in a blue moon I’ll find a use for it. I love using stripe paper for accents and borders. Basic Grey is a personal favorite because buying the paper packs makes it so much easier for me to match the stuff and they have page of the month examples, etc. to follow. I think I blog hop simply for the fact that I can see other pages and get ideas of what to do on my pages. As I’ve stated before, I’m a big PageMaps fan too.

Well, this is a no-brainer. I have and love that exact AC paper. I just saw it someone’s page in the gallery the other day, too, and it reminded me how much I love it. I also like the butterflies on the MM paper, which I would probably cut out and use as embellishments. I like the MME and the Luxe papers, too, but perhaps mostly because of the color… I’ll have to dig out the scraps of that cute AC tree paper and put it to work.

  • Jkhashab

I immediately was drawn to AC…but after a few more seconds, I started looking at Cosmo Cricket and MME a little closer…hmmm…patterns today, YAY!!

  • Jenny McGee

I like the Cosmo Cricket (I just won a set of their new DeLovely set). Also like the KI Memories colorful stripes are fun, and the Reminisce, I think because it is blue. But, I use and love pattern paper.

  • Cyndi

I have always loved Hambley & Cosmo Cricket. In most lines I can find at least one or two papers I might like. Lain, did you see my layout for Day 18? Full of stripes and dots!

  • Michelle H – Kyivscrapper

I actually have 7 of the exact papers that are above! I love patterned paper but I also find some are better for different purposes. I have some that are definitely for LO’s and some that work better for cards. I hope that my migraine will back off a little so I can do this challenge!

  • Lisa R

I love polka dots. I have lots of that type pp, but I find myself only using the small dot pp and not the large dots. I want to use it, but never find an opportunity to do so. I like to used stripe paper too, but thin stripes are my favorite.
I also love American Craft! I use it alot. Those are my go-to papers.

  • Lisa R

P.S. I am not usually brand specific although I do buy a lot of AC. I am drawn to bright colors; they make me smile.

  • Duckienz

Lisa, one great way of using large dotted paper is to turn the dots into journalling spots. It’s great if you have lots of little bits of info.
