Wow. that is a tough one. Need some thinking on this one. Of course, maybe some sleep will help…

  • lynne moore

Huh? My post says it entered at 7:11 am and it’s really 12:11 am here.

Awesome! I have such an eclectic style both in scrapping and in life. I like to mix it up. I wear nana cardys with low cut tops. I wear clothes that just don’t quite ‘go’ but work when I wear them. It is the same in my scrapbooking. Loving this assignment, thanks!

    Ooh what a fun challenge!

  • Karen Perry

I’m glad I have 6 hours of driving time today to think on this. Great exercise.

I have a lot of thinking to do with this one!! But it will be fun I’m sure.

love it! off to think. :)

Where’s the pink carnation?! I think one of mine would have to be “clean.” I can’t pull off the tons of embellishments look, and when i try it just looks messy.

  • Donna C

SCREECH!!! that’s the sound of the gears turning and churning in my head!! my first thought is “procratinator”, but i want to go for the positive!! hmmmmm. open to suggestions! :)

  • Michelle (Kyivscrapper)

I was hoping for creating this month. Now I have to think too! Yikes! ;) Very provocative! This is a very good exercise for me (and my brain).

Donna C — instead of “procrastination” you could choose “careful” (i.e. taking my sweet time to get it done) or how about “spur of the moment” (i.e. I’ve waited all day, so I need to act fast!). “Improvisational” would also work…

Lain, thanks for this fun assignment. I can think of about 100 adejctives I wish described me and my scrapbooking. This might be easier to narrtow down than the actual adjectives that apply… Maybe I should ask a friend to think of three adjectives that come to mind when SHE pictures my scrapbooking… hopefully INSANE won’t be on her list.

PS: I’m loving that the daily topics are here on this website, so we will be able to see them all throughout the month. Lucky us. YAY for YOU!

  • Lynnette

Ha! Guess I jumped the gun yesterday with my “messy” layout :) I’m sure I’ll be able to find some more wonderful adjectives for today! Loving the LOAD!!!!

  • Alleluialu

Okay, I chose enduring as in memorable (the adjective, not the verb — my daughter thought it sounded painful until I told her it was the adjective), fun, and eclectic. I have eclectic taste in everything. Does that sound like something I could use? I guess we’ll see.

    Eclectic is good. :)

  • BlackKat07

I’ve chosen Storytelling, Fun and True-to-Life ( maybe I mean authentic – I try to tell it like it is, good and not-so-good) – not sure how this will provide guidance for purchasing products or the techniques I use…?

To me, that means you’re looking for things that help you express your story, not just look cute on the page. Maybe journaling blocks, embellishments with words or a theme, stuff that’s not too serious — does any of that help?

After much thought, I have come up with my adjectives:
    Simple, Colorful, Positive
Most of my layouts are clean and simple, not a lot of embellishments. 1-3 photos usually. I love color, even if I have a background that’s black, white or kraft I love adding pops of color and using various colors throughout my layouts. I’m a happy scrapper and I try to keep my layouts positive.

No wonder I love you. ;)

  • Sue

I knew the first word would be colorful, and the organized side of me was pushing for words that started with the same letter, so I have chosen colorful, clean, classic. Sounds right. I have yet to buy a bottle of mist spray, am not really inspired by the latest techniques. I am happy with wonderful color combinations and seeing what I can do next with squares, rectangles and the occasional circle. Hope that doe not sound too boring! BTW, this is also how I like to dress!

I love it! Sounds like me, too. :)

I have to admit this one did give me a headache as to most of my words were either a noun or anything but an adjective!   Sadly I am one who cant move on until I complete each step of the way.  So left this and came back to it for another go.  The first word that jumped out was “slow” but I have to be more positive than that!  So I came up with these…..
    Retro, Vintage and Natural.
I’m curious what ya think. ;-)

I love it- and I am glad you waited for the right ideas to occur to you instead of forcing it. :)
