Woohoo. I am sooooo glad that ‘B’ is for brads and Buttons. Two of my favourite things in my scrapbook world!!!

  • Jane Logan

Hi Lain, saw this up earlier today and went ahead and did my layout, uploaded it and everything, then you actually sent the email! Sorry!!

Geesh I just used brads yesterday…what do you mean I need to use them again today! ;) And buttons I just used them well I’m sure I’ve used them – was it…no, oh wait it was…no, I know I know last LOAD when you ‘made’ me LOL

Great prompt now I need to stop thinking about how I use them and just let it flow naturally so I’ll go back to the adjective thing cause there has to be one other than opinionated (hubby’s offering)

Yeah – two of my favorite things to use on a page. 99% of all my pages usually one one or both on them.

This should be an easy task today, I love buttons and brad. Buttons more though. Sounds fun, but alas, I will not get to work on it til after work.

Did you all notice how cute brads would look with the Lottie- paper doll stamp set? It caught my eye right away.

Love all the LOs but Kinsey is just too cute with the Purell comment!

I love all of these layouts! I like the bullet brads and the buttons on the Catch Phrase layout. Lain- you make digital look easy and I love the Purell story! I would love to try out those stamps too!

Love ‘em. Just taught a class last month on designing with brads and their cousins, the eyelets. Now to think of something new….

  • Rebecca

Button! Button! Who has the button? Don’t know where that came from…lol! Too much coffee this morning. ;)

JoAnn Fabrics has/had their cute scrapbooking/craft buttons on sale, buy one bag get one free. I use lots of buttons but try to stay away from those with a big raised backing. Look for the nice flat one. They do less damage to the page when inside your book.

Hmmm. I have so many buttons and most of the time they just sit there looking pretty in the giant parfait bowl!!! I guess I’ll have to dust off a few!
    This sounds fun!!!
Kinsey is a funny girl!! dontcha just love that kind of stuff! ;)

Great challenge! I think I can do this today.

Shhhh…don’t tell anyone, but I secretly have a “thing” for buttons. I love them, but I haven’t used them in a while. Looking forward to this prompt :)

Wow, I uploaded my page yesterday without having read the days prompt, and you know what, it had brads! Brads are one of my go-to items, so that worked out well.

I had a good look at this and thought I had done the button thing! LOL  I did use them on a Page long ago framing a photo but I discovered on my journal page that buttons just fell everywhere there was space, I made a flower (my brain storming, working for 1 minute) used them as page corners.  Going through my button collection I never realised I had SO many!  Brads I dont use very often unless its to hold down the paper from flapping too!  Here I tried to use brads on my little journalling spots and actually add to an already printed picture such as an eyeball or smili face.  The one thing I really noticed was I like to be colour co-ordinated, be it mono toned or colour grouped.  Learned something new today :)
    Thanks ;)

Love the idea of using them for photo corners! Funny how so many buttons can fit in a small space… We think we don’t have that many until we start counting. ;)
