Guess I will be digging through lots of photos today. My mom has most of our older family photos but I’m sure I have some :)

Recently, I had a fun day at my mom’s scanning in tons of heritage photos. My mom told me stories I had never heard before. It was such a rich day of enjoyment and family history. It will be fun today to choose one and see where the LO takes me.

I posted mine and it’s a weird topic with all journaling, but for me it’s a strong childhood memory. :)

Got a bunch of old pix in a binder that I know some of the sotries. I also inherited all the pix and albums and odds and ends and slides and (you get the idea) from both my grandparents. One day soon, I have to sit down with my parents and get the details of who is who and whys. Cool assignment.

My mother has scrapbooked all of her childrens photos but my son might be considered heritage by now! lol I’ll see what I can dig up.

I love heritage photos. Often times I wonder what the story is behind them, since I don’t have my grandparents around anymore. Thankfully my mom knows a few stories. I would love have my gram around to ask more details though.
Aren’t our children lucky we are capturing the details of our lives?! I really need to do Ali’s A Week in the Life project though.
