Lain, this is perfect today. I just got a clip it up yesterday and rearranged all my newest embellishments and paper kits on it. Can’t wait to see what I come up with. Thanks!

Lol…I clean up my space after I’m done for the day, so I can use what’s ‘around’. I do have a lot of stuff I can dig through, so we’ll see what I can find!

I love frames. LOVE them. I also use a lot of tape, glitter/paint, stitches, word art and brushes/stamps, and when I have the time I looooove to layer vintage items all over my page. I’ve been in a more clean and simple phase lately but I used to layer a ton of stuff on my layouts. I think just about anything can be used on a layout….and digi really makes that possibe for me. Oh, I loooove fonts and alphas too. More gthan you needed to know??? Lol! What did you expect, really? Hahaha!

I always use “waht’s around’ on my desk. Ther eis always a little leftover or exta peice of something and I love to make it fit intop what I am doing. Other than that, I seem to be attracted to stickles and glossy accents, sticker letters and lefover bits of patterned paper, ribbon and brads.

Getting messy would imply my scrap space was neat when I started haha!! Fun challenge I’m going to go in right now and see what’s sitting on my table.

This is my absolute weakness – embellishments! I love layering them, adding stickles to the dots or edges, distressed edges give me a warm fuzzy feeling. Love that we have this challenge today!

My early albums are almost devoid of embellishments b/c there wasn’t any available and I didn’t think creatively to come up with my own. After I a bit of time I noticed eyelets from the sewing dept creep into my pages. Then there were a lot of buttons, fibers, ribbons and brads. Consistent from the start were diecuts and punches.

I tend to use several kinds of embellishments on a page, usually in groups of 3. They mostly serve a design function, like a visual triangle.

I would like to use my embellishment stash, not buy as many, and move toward making my own more often. Gotta get my money’s worth out of that Slice Elite!

What’s the difference between the Slice Elite and the Slice?
