Digital Scrapbooking: Why You Should Give It a Try

Does digital scrapbooking scare you? I hope not! When it comes to fast scrapbooking, you could do a heck of a lot worse than learning to use your photo-editing software to create scrapbook pages. I had always been a dedicated paper-scrapper until we moved and all my scrapbooking supplies were packed up for several months. I was going nuts, so I bit the bullet and started the steep learning curve. Within a week or two, I was whipping out the pages!

I’m still a dedicated paper-scrapper, but I love the flexibility of knowing my way around Photoshop Elements. It’s added a lot to my scrapbooking repertoire. Sometimes I want to do something that I just can’t do with paper – or I don’t have the supplies on-hand! With digital, you never “run out” of an item, so once you buy it, it’s yours forever. And there are tons of freebies available.

If you haven’t yet tried digital scrapbooking, I encourage you to give it a shot. You just might like it!

P.S. You can get a free trial of Adobe Photoshop Elements (and many other Adobe products) here: Try Creative Suite 5 Free!
