Happy New Year Lain. I may be overextended for 2012, but I am looking forward to it.
I am signed up for One Little Word. My word is LIFE. Signed up for Stacy Julian’s TWELVE. And doing Project Life for the third year. Then of course, in Feb. will be doing Layout a Day212:Past Perfect.
Thanks for the ‘notebook’. So cute.

    Yay, Glenna!
So excited to see you at these classes. Any Project Life tips for me? :)

  • Sassynagle

Did you intend for the title for Feb. LOAD to be a play on words?  It’s great…past perfect meaning capturing stories from the past and also reminding us to get past our layout NEEDING to be perfect.  I like it.

Just keep your camera close by at all times. I took pictures of EVERYTHING. Almost everything we ate, all appliances, every nook and corner, inside and out. Every place we went and everything we did. The first year it isn’t hard to find a good pic a day. I ask myself what do I wish I knew about my grandparents and my parents lives. What did they do, how did they live, what did they talk about. I could go on and on. But I won’t. You are welcome ha.

    Great advice! Thanks much!

Question about the True Scrap downloads. How long do you have access to them after your purchase ?

I’ve signed up for the same classes too. Really looking forward to them, along with continuing my Project Life for another year.

    Hi Lain,
I have just purchased and Signed up for the LOAD for Feb 2012. I am in Australia though so my First Question is How do I work out the Time Difference so that I can be there with everyone else?
My next Concern is that I haven’t really done Scrapbooking so will be coming as a Beginner, does this class cater for this?
I can’t tell you how much I’m looking Forward to this and most especially could not believe the Very LOW cost for the 29 Days. I pay more than that for one 2hour class. Many Thanks.
    Kind Regards,

    HI Beverley!
First, welcome to LOAD! It’s definitely suited for scrapbookers of any level. Just start where you are and you’ll find a whole community of people there to support you. Second, there are no “live” components so you don’t have to worry about being anywhere at a certain time. It’s all pre-recorded and sent out about 3AM eastern (New York Time) each day. The day’s layout needs to be uploaded by 12 midnight California time, so you’ll have to work out what those hours are. :)
We’ve been sharing some helpful tips over at, so come over and join in the conversation! :) xooxx
