Free Journaling Spot – and Mom/Daughter Layout

by Lain Ehmann on June 29, 2012

Let me in on a secret: The real reason we scrapbook more pages about our little kids than about our older kids is that scrapbooking your teen or preteen can be tough – particularly when you’re maybe not quite seeing eye-to-eye with them (and they’re driving you BANANAS!).

I am sure you know of which I speak, if you have a teen or tween in your house. And you have my prayers, too. :)

Now, those of you who have been reading along with me for awhile, you’ll probably remember that I am dedicating some time this year to capturing my relationship with my almost-12-year-old (who has been “almost 21″ since the day she was born!).

This layout is the latest in this series (you can see the others here:

On this layout, I highlight three of our similarities and three of our differences. It was harder to come up with this list than you might think! I may have Kinsey do a version and create a separate layout based on her responses.

If you’d like to get a downloadable version of the journaling spot above, just make sure you sign up for The Dot, my email list. I’ll be sending out the link to this journaling spot (and the others too!) on Monday.

P.S. Don’t forget that Sunday we’re kicking off 31 Days of Q&As! I’ve got dozens of great questions already. It’s not too late to submit your questions!
