Jennifer McGuire, True Scrap Teacher!

by Lain Ehmann on March 9, 2011

Over the next weeks, I’m going to be including some fun interviews with our True Scrap instructors. First up is…

Jennifer McGuire!

Jennifer is a former CK Hall of Fame winner, and has been scrapbooking and stamping since 2002. She’s contributed to a number of industry magazines and newspapers, and is the author of “101 Things to Do with Your Scrapbooking Supplies.” She is a contributor and designer for Hero Arts Stamps, and we are thrilled to have her in the lineup of True Scrap instructors!

Her Class:

For True Scrap, Jennifer is teaching an inspiring and eye-candy-full class on Super Stamping Secrets. She’s going to show how stamping can add color, style, and “wow!” to any paper crafting project. This is a highly anticipated topic (one that I personally am excited about!).

And now for the five-minute interview!

What was the last scrapbook/crafting supply you purchased?

Dies from My Favorite Things

If you could have a crafting/photographic superpower, it would be…

The ability to do clean cut style like Cathy Zielske

The last photo you took:

The Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The best book you read in 2010:

I never read! Would rather craft.

Learn more about Jennifer at the True Scrap website. And while you’re there, sign up! 12 instructors, five virtual make-and-takes, and one keynote interview, April 7-9.

I LOVE Jennifer’s comment about what she is reading!!!! Sure, I could read…I do know how, but I would so much rather craft. Sometimes I feel a little foolish at Mom-type events and everyone is talking about what they are reading or what book club they are in. Ocasionally I’ll find a fellow scrapper/crafter and we can talk shop about that! I have a ton of stamps that need to be used more often. Sounds like fun!

Have you tried books on tape or CD? We usually listen to one in the car together with the kids. :)
