Memory Makers Blog Hop- Blooms Are in the Air!

by Lain Ehmann on April 12, 2011

It’s time for another fabulous installment of the Memory Makers Blog Hop! This month, the theme is Blooms… in honor of our sponsor, Memory Makers and their A-Dor-A-Ble “Dilly Dally” line of springtacular products!

My layout is “Family Blooms,” and it’s a photo of my hubby and his younger sister:

I couldn’t resist making another layout with these cuties:

My favorites from this collection:

The embellishment box:

It comes with a fantastic assortment of goodies… paper flowers, tulle flowers, glitter butterfly, sequins, buttons, ribbons… and more! I love it!

Green Geometric Double-Sided Paper

This is so usable, and lightly distressed, so it still works for those of us who are more graphic and less shabby-esque.

Dilly-Dally Glitter Stripes

Oh, love these stripes– it even includes a little scallop in there. :)

The Dilly-Dally Rub-On and Sticker Pack

This comes with sheets of rub-ons and stickers, including teeny-tiny letters in that same fantastic green…

Now, here’s the best part… I have an extra pack of Dilly Dally goodies to send to one of YOU! All you have to do is leave a comment about a spring layout you want to create by Friday, April 15. I’ll draw a winner and announce it here on Monday, April 18. (US only please).

After you do that, bop on over to our next blog….

P.S. Thank you to Making Memories for sponsoring this blog hop by providing us with the gorgeous products!

Great layouts and great line. Ilove the colors. I have some Spring concerts, spring dances, and a fishing trip to scrap for Spring time. Thanks for a chance to win.

I’m looking forward to my Easter pictures. They never fail to inspire several l/o’s.

After just celebrating my niece and nephew’s 1st birthday I’m thinking of a layout about them. Or the kite festival we plan to attend this weekend!

Last year we took to the kids to Central Park Zoo in NYC over spring break. There is something so liberating about being in the city. The kids had fun climbing the big rocks in the park and throwing a frisbee on the great lawn…like real New Yorkers. Must get those pics out to scrap. Thanks for the chance, Miss Lain!

I’ve got plans to scrap some photos from this season’s softball games, which were technically played in the spring although you can’t tell by how bundled up the players and fans are! Thanks for the great giveaway~

  • Kathy R

Really like both layouts you made using these new MM products.

  • Christi S

Great layouts! I’d love to win the new MM products. So colorful and cheery!

  • LCSmithSAVED

Definitely feeling springy, and my yard is finally cooperating and coughing up some GREEN – have a wonderful photo of my crocus blooms just waiting for this paper ;~D

  • Rosalie

Spring flowers are always so welcomed after the dull whites and grays of winter. A couple of my favorite spring things to scrap are kids riding bikes and blowing bubbles.

  • Amy Grendel

Love these yummy papers and embellies! I can’t wait to scrap about my birthday that just went by and all the signs of spring starting to show itself – flowers, warmer temperatures, sandals and painted toe nails :)

  • Rachel

love the spring theme! would love to scrapbook my springtime adventures with my neice and nephew playing in the lawn!

  • Barb in AK

Oh my goodness! Those layouts are beautiful and the MM materials are GORGEOUS!!!
The song birds are returning to MN and I would love to make some layouts of the photos my dh is taking of them :-)
These papers would make the birds look like they were sitting right in the middle of the new-leafing trees!
Thanks for the chance to win!

I have a few spring layouts I’d like to do, but the must important will probably be my daughterls last Easter egg hunt. She is nine this year, and I believe this is a turning point for her. SNIFF! I’m sad just because those nine years have gone so fast, but this MM line makes me feel happy. It would be the perfect way to dwell on what is to come rather than what she is leaving behind.

My son is going on a field trip to a wildlife preserve and historical museum tomorrow. I am so looking forward to some great picture opportunities and getting them down in a layout!

  • Pam

Oh, this line is on my wishlist! One layout I want to make this spring is of my 78 year old mother celebrating numerous days. Her birthday is 4 days after Easter, and then 2 weeks later is Mother’s Day. With 9 children, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, she is sure to be surrounded by loved ones. Might need to be a mini album…

Those papers are gorgeous! My Granddaughter just turned 5 and I got her a swing set, so I want to do a LO of her swinging on it for the first time

  • Lzepponi

Lovin the papers!! My spring LO will be about my son’s 1st Communion, occurring in 2 weeks. I know I will get some absolutely lovely pics of him in front of the church outside, garden…

  • Rhonda H in AR

My husband just got his first riding lawn mower. You would think it was a Porsche. I want to capture that thrill.

We took a family bike ride last weekend and stopped at a park where the trees are starting to bloom. We also took a drive-yourself boat ride and two rides on the bumper cars – lots of photos to scrap from that fun Spring outing.

I want to make some layouts of a trip we took to the beach with friends. I’m working on a journal of the trip now, but I’d like to make some layouts as well. I got so many mah-velous pictures!

And how lovely would it be to have these delicious papers and goodies to create with! Yum! Thanks for the chance!
