Send to KindleI am so thrilled to be part of the Memory Makers Magazine blog bounce!
Today we’re celebrating a month of memories with the prompt, “Remember Me.”
I chose to focus on the “remember” part of the prompt and created a simple layout about one of the most important people in my life:
My sister.
Our childhood was far from ideal, and I don’t remember a lot of it. But the good times I *do* remember all involve Mindy. It hurts more than I can say that we now live 3,000 miles apart.
I don’t usually get all deep and meaningful on my blog, so let me save myself by telling you a funny story about my sis. When she was three and I was five or six, we were playing in rain puddles in the gutter in front of the house. I happened to be eating raisins at the time, and I dropped one in the mucky water and told her to eat it. She did.
“How did it taste?” I asked.
“Like it was chocolate-covered!” she answered.
Love that girl.
Our next stop is Susan Medley’s blog. Hop on over!
