Welcome to the July Blog Bounce from Memory Makers!
Vacation is in the air! Unfortunately, we have not yet taken one even though our summer break is more than half over (insert sad face here). So when I saw today’s Memory Makers blog bounce theme, I had to dig D-E-E-P in the photo vault for a vacation photo. Do you know when the last time we went on vacation as a family? DECEMBER! ACK!
Christmas in July, indeed. Anyway, I still think this layout is cute:
This layout includes two very cute photos of my littlest, Callie, and my nephew, Ford. They basically grew up together until we moved from California to Mass. two years ago. This was the hardest part – breaking these two up! But when we got back together, it was just like old times.
You will notice a few things on this layout:
-NO TITLE. Very unusual for me! I just couldn’t get one to work, so I went with no title. We’ll all survive, won’t we?
-I replicated a layout design I used in my video on altering rhinestones using your Copic markers. I liked it so much, I used it twice!
-Acrylic heart. Of course.
-I used two separate die-cuts on this page. Love them both.
-Machine stitching! I got my sewing machine out and everything!
I am sure the other fantastic ladies in the blog bounce will have more summery layouts. Is anyone else out there besides me scrapping Christmas photos???
Now, hop along to the incredible Susan Medley — and thanks for stopping by!
