Over the next weeks, I’m going to be including some fun interviews with our True Scrap instructors. Today, we have…
About her class: Nic Howard is known for her ability to create visually stimulating textures and dimensions on a scrapbook page, and now she’s going to share her favorite techniques with you! Learn how she builds eye-catching pages that are as meaningful as they are artistic.
And now, for our five-minute interview:
The last scrapbooking product you purchased:
Prima flowers. Lots of them.
If you had a crafting/photography super power, it would be…
to capture voices. I’d love to be able to hear people talk when I look at photos. For example, I asked my daughter recently where her drink bottle went at school and she shrugged and said “I don’t know, it just missapeared!” How cute would it be to ‘hear’ her say that when I look at her photo in 20 years time?!
The last photo you took:
Of a layout! Wait – before that, of Jackson, our cat. He went missing for 10 days and I realised I didn’t have any decent photos for a lost poster. I took some when he returned home!
The best book you read in 2011:
“The Help” by Kathryn Stockett. I make myself read for 20 minutes every lunchtime. Stop. Switch off, read for 20 minutes, then back to work.
Nic’s class promises to be change the way you look at your pages! Join us at True Scrap, April 7-9!
