No Photos? No Problem!

by Lain Ehmann on May 14, 2014

promoWith my “Start with Story” approach to scrapbooking that I’m introducing next Monday and Tuesday in my “Scrapbook Your Story” class on CreativeLIVE (for freeeeeeee), the photos are no longer the focus of your scrapbook layout… the stories are! Instead of sitting down with a stack of photos, you sit down with a stack of memories and start from there.

Often, we’ll still end up with photos on the page (photos are awesome!). But what if you don’t have a photo to match your memory?

No photo? NO PROBLEM! A new ebook from Lisa Echerd of LisaE Designs gives you 10 techniques for scrapbooking without photos. Here’s what she says…

“Sometimes we can’t take photos.

Or maybe you want to scrapbook your childhood and you just don’t have that many photos.

You can still tell these stories – even without the perfect photo.

In this new e-book/PDF, I’ll show you 10 ways to work without the perfect photo or any photo at all.

No Photo? No Problem!
10 Techniques for Scrapbooking without the Perfect Photo

I share 17 layouts as examples of the 10 techniques, and I give you tips for telling your story through your journaling. You’ll see how to find photo substitutes or create a fantastic no photo page.

And a HUGE bonus is the 45-minute video full of scrapbooking techniques used on some of these layouts.

The book and the video combo is only $8.

So don’t let a lack of photos stop you from getting all those fabulous memories preserved for you and your family.”

Check out Lisa’s ebook and video and let me know what you think. It’s the perfect accompaniment for this month’s LOAD514 challenge… or for starting YOUR “Start with Story” journey!

Hi Lain, I’m trying to type in my email on your free download in the menu, but everytime I click on it to type in my address, it just goes to your ‘about’ page? Are you still giving the book away? Thanks

Hi Lain. I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this or not, :D But, I was wondering if you have any tips on what to do with leftover letter stickers? I’ve amassed quite few over the years I’ve been scrapbooking, and it seems after a few uses, I end up with a bunch of leftover letters that won’t spell anything. LOL :D Any ideas on how I can resolve that?
