Over the next weeks, I’m going to be including some fun interviews with our True Scrap instructors. Today, we have…
About her class: Great pages begin with great design. If you get the design right, the rest just flows… but if your design is weak, your page will suffer, no matter how many cute embellishments you add! Learn the basics of page design with Noell Hyman, and let her show you easy ways to create a strong foundation that will help your photos and stories shine!
And now, for our five-minute interview:
The last scrapbooking product you purchased:
Ink blending tool + Distress Inks for my best friend’s birthday.
If you had a crafting/photography super power, it would be…
Faster than a speeding bullet at getting the camera and the photos that I often miss! Also, I would have stunning lighting and rich contrast in every shot!
The last photo you took:
Izzy and I went to Starbucks to work and we met Izzy’s partner, Tim, there. I put the camera on a display stand and shot a pic of us working. I plan to do a layout soon on my weekly work schedule and we work at Starbucks a lot.
The best book you read in 2011:
Not sure if this truly was the best because I didn’t keep a list, but the one I remember really loving was by Richard Russo. It has a lame title, so don’t let that turn you off. It’s called, That Old Cape Magic. Even though the title is lame the story and writing are both great. While I’m at it, I’ll recommend Straight Man by Richard Russo, also.
Wherever you are in your scrapbooking journey, Noell will add to your understanding of the basic principles that are the essential underpinnings for great pages! Join us at True Scrap, April 7-9!
