I’m back and in fine form with your favorite scrapbooking podcast… but the new and updated version! Never fear, not too many changes… Just a slight tweak to our mission around here as we aim to embrace all that is good and fine and noble about scrapbooking, telling our stories, and valuing our histories, our present, and our future. Listen in as I share an interview with someone who very much embraces that philosophy, Rachel Kaufman of Scrapbooking from the Inside Out, a unique kit club with a bright future.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • How Rachel’s own personal struggles led to a new definition of scrapbooking for her
  • Why people resonate with the prompt to document authentic, sometimes gritty, emotions
  • What’s wrong with bananas, anyway? ;)
  • How Rachel’s spreading the healing and growing powers of visual journaling with others

…And more!

So awesome to hear Rachel share her vision. Thank you Lain for hosting this. It’s an honor to work with such an awesome company and I encourage everyone to take that step of tearing down the “rules” and “boundaries” they may have when it comes to scrapbooking!

Thanks for another great podcast! I find this fascinating, and I’ve sent a request for more info about becoming an instructor for Rachel’s program.

Thanks so much for having Rachel as your guest for this podcast. It’s truly amazing that she has turned a simple craft into a form of healing. I’m impressed! This may be just what I need at this stage of my life. I’m getting “up there” in years….but this may be the avenue I need to document my past and be able to express my life to my 4 adult children in a way I never thought of before. Thanks, Lain, for your awesome podcasts. Love ‘em all!!

Talk about an AHA moment! I have Rachel’s Sedona Moments layout (from Simple) in my Inspiration binder. Even though I drastically purged this binder(s) last yr, I just couldn’t let go of this one layout. Ironically, I was initially drawn to it for its colors, then I realized its meaning. Having visited Sedona, Rachel’s layout captured the essence of it beautifully.

This should actually be episode 113. I am really behind so I had listened to this episode and then went back to listen to the 31 days… Sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.
