It’s January, time for new beginnings, new resolutions, new challenges.

When I surveyed my Twitter buddies about their scrapbooking resolutions, I got answers like:

*Being more consistent in my scrapbooking.

*Scrapbooking more often, with more joy.

*To use more of what I have.

*To complete a project I’m working on.

What if I had the answer for all that and more? (And you know I do….)

It’s…

Layout a Day 211 – Inspiration Is Everywhere

Layout a Day (LOAD) has helped people scrapbook faster, find lost inspiration, learn new skills, and reignite passion for this fabulous hobby — all while being a part of a vibrant, supportive community.

Past participants will tell you:

“This is my 2nd LOAD. I think the community keeps getting richer and stronger here.”

“You can’t find support like you do here anywhere else…and I’ve tried-LOL!”

“I made more pages this month than I have in a very long time. I’ve rediscovered my love for scrapbooking. I’ve learned to let go and not stress over finding the perfect patterned paper, lettering or embellishments.”

“Through this month I discovered I LOVE to scrapbook!”

“All in all I think this is the most important lesson I have learned through the Load Challenge. I learned that this is scrapbooking – for “real people”. You don`t need the latest and greatest. You don`t have to do things a certain way. Just go with the flow and make your pages.”

“Every time I do a LOAD (this was my 4th) I am re-committed to telling the stories or expressing the emotions.”

“I learned that I really do have time to scrap even with my busy, crazy life. Thanks also to the community here for all your support and encouragement. This is always a great group and I love being a part of it.”

“This was my first LOAD. I’d been in a bit of a scrapbooking funk, and this really broke me out of that.”

“My love for scrapbooking is stronger than ever! Working at my hobby every day is just what I needed to become more creative and more anxious to keep up with this on a regular basis.”

“After nine years of scrapbooking I was beginning to lose my desire to actually do it anymore. I became more of a scrap shopper. Now I think Load has given me back the drive to do the thing that I had loved so much.”

“Thank you all so much, I think the community was a big part of the journey, You will definitely find me here again!”

“This was my 3rd LOAD and each time I feel I become more of the scrapbooker that is me… I love the community of scrappers here and the kindness and inspiration that is part of LOAD. I’m looking forward to what Feb. LOAD has in store.”

For this Year, I want to play more when I scrap, dare to do new things, learn more techniques, and as I always try, sit less time in front of the computer just surfing and more time at the scraptable…
