Scenes from a Home

by Lain Ehmann on May 11, 2011

We take a slight detour from our regularly scheduled programming to talk about MOVING and my new home… Scenes from a home-in-progress:

The girls and I have been so excited about our new house that we’ve been camping out in the family room on mattresses in sleeping bags. We turn off all the lights, light the gas fireplace, and play Twisted Fish and tell ghost stories.

This is the very first thing I hung on our walls:

The Ehmanns are home! How do we know? ALL THE SHOES!

Love the flowers in our front garden:

Ahhh… The inside is “getting there.” I’ll show you more photos soon!

P.S. I had the honor of being the featured guest on Sudie Alexander’s UnKit radio show! We talked about perfectionism, why people quit scrapbooking, how to bring the fun back in memory-keeping, and some details about True Scrap and the MotherLOAD Scrapbook Marathon. Listen here!

What fun! Camping in your new home. I love your “Love lives here” sign.

Looks like the move is going well! Unpacking is definitely more fun than packing :)
