Layout a Day #7: Scrapbook Doodling!

I haven’t been able to do the daily Layout a Day with my ScrapHappy peeps, but I’m popping in when I can! Here’s what I created for today’s scrapbook doodling challenge:

I’m not much of a doodler, but I added a little bit on the left-hand side. And I also created the title in a doodle-y sort of way, using a technique I learned from Kelli Crowe at last April’s True Scrap event. I used the “negative” space of my letter stickers and doodled in them. The benefit of this approach is that you don’t run out of vowels! :)

    Hi Lain,I love the bright colours used in your layout and that you used 3 photos. I am definitely going to give this one a go at the weekend retreat so another page added to my list.  Thanks for the idea

    that is such a cool idea (doodling in for the letters instead of filling them in solid – i like the softer look) – I have a binder full of  alphabet stencils from when my mom taught highschool and used them for her bulletin boards…
