It was another amazing Scrapbook Improv this week!
I absolutely ADORE this night of the month. Not only do I get to chat with my best buds live, I also get to complete some layouts that would never have gotten scrapped otherwise.
Below you can find the three layouts I created live on Wednesday night, spending about 30 minutes on each one. And I’ve also included some additional layouts I created using the December kit from our Scrapbook Improv sponsor, Gossamer Blue.
Layout #1: Silent Night (all products from the Gossamer Blue December kitexcept button, staples and small paper scraps)
Subject: birthday wishes (I really took a right turn on this one — didn’t have any birthday photos at the ready, so I grabbed one from church on Christmas Eve. Hey, Christmas is a birthday!).
Embellishments: Tag
Technique: Tearing
Journaling: Quote
Extra challenge: Use scraps

Layout #2: What a Mess (all products from the Gossamer Blue December kit except white cardstock, button, bling and blue paint)
Subject: “what a mess!”
Embellishments: Bling
Technique: Create background paper
Journaling: Song lyrics
Extra Challenge: Use product packaging
Extra Extra Challenge: Use paint and ink

Layout #3: Every Day (all products from the Gossamer Blue December kit except white cardstock and staples)
Subject: everyday routine
Embellishments: Washi (wasabi) tape
Technique: Scraps
Journaling: Computer-generated

Here are a couple more layouts I created yesterday and today with the kit:
“End of Days.”

“Very Merry”

I hope you will join us next month on Jan. 23 at 8PM eastern when we do it again! You can scrap along or just hang out. A good time will be had by all!

And for those of you who were asking about the challenge list, you can download the PDF here. The page topics change from month to month, but the rest of the challenges stay the same.
