We did it again! Three layouts in 90 minutes!

Last night we had a record crowd keeping us company as we improv’d LIVE. It was wacky — broken arrows, pop culture, prizes, and more — yahoo!

I was working with Gossamer Blue’s January kit. It’s still available, so if you want to grab one, you can get it here.

Here are all the goodies in that kit:

Lots of fun stuff!! Here’s how I put it to use:

Layout #1: Pop Culture

Subject/Title: “Pop Culture.” (I took artistic license and created a page about my dad!)

Technique: Stamping

Journaling: Computer-generated

Background: Cardstock

Embellishments: Border

Notes: All products from Gossamer Blue January kit except stamp (Sodalicious, from Gossamer Blue Nov. kit), white cardstock, ink (Stampin’ Up!), and white title letters (Thickers from American Crafts).

Layout #2: Eight

Subject/Title: “Things That Make You Go AAAH!”

Journaling: List

Background: Cardstock

Embellishments: Tag/label

Product Notes: Everything from Gossamer Blue Jan. kit except “Eight” title cut from SIlhouette (design by Loni Stevens) and green ink (Stampin’ Up!).

I’m creating a few more layouts with this amazing kit, but I wanted to go ahead and share these.

Stay tuned – and thanks to Gossamer Blue for sponsoring Scrapbook Improv! We’ll see you next month on Feb. 27.

Edited:

Here are two more layouts created with Gossamer Blue’s kit:

Layout #4: Related!?

Product notes: everything on layout came from the GB Jan. kit, with the exception of the letter stickers (Thickers/American Crafts) and the twine used on the button (Darice, I think!)

Layout #5: Breathe

Product notes: All products from GB’s Jan. kit.

Yeah! So glad to see your layouts from last nite. Have NO idea what was wrong with Ustream and me last nite. No hearing anthing in a fullsentence is kinda hard but then later I laughed about it once I thought about all the snippets I ‘did’ hear:
cow pen, pizza, eight, LOAD, haircut, Ba, pancakes, Disney, dots and Gossamer…
Yep, that pretty much summed it up for me….LOL
So anious to see the ‘full’ replay today once the NcQuil wears off- ha.ha.ha!

Another great improv Lain! I’m so glad you record them because something always seems to come up at the crucial time.

Did you say something about a Flickr gallery for Improv inspired LOs? Do you have a link for that? Thanks

Thanks, Henny- Western would be tough as I live in Boston and don’t own or ride horses. But I’m sure there are plenty of horse layouts out there!

You know what happens when you mess with the beaver!! LOL! Love that layout!!
