Send to KindleWe did it again! Three layouts in 90 minutes!
Last night we had a record crowd keeping us company as we improv’d LIVE. It was wacky — broken arrows, pop culture, prizes, and more — yahoo!
I was working with Gossamer Blue’s January kit. It’s still available, so if you want to grab one, you can get it here.
Here are all the goodies in that kit:
Lots of fun stuff!! Here’s how I put it to use:
Layout #1: Pop Culture
Subject/Title: “Pop Culture.” (I took artistic license and created a page about my dad!)
Technique: Stamping
Journaling: Computer-generated
Background: Cardstock
Embellishments: Border
Notes: All products from Gossamer Blue January kit except stamp (Sodalicious, from Gossamer Blue Nov. kit), white cardstock, ink (Stampin’ Up!), and white title letters (Thickers from American Crafts).
Layout #2: Eight
Subject/Title: “Things That Make You Go AAAH!”
Technique: Diecuts
Journaling: List
Background: Cardstock
Embellishments: Tag/label
Product Notes: Everything from Gossamer Blue Jan. kit except “Eight” title cut from SIlhouette (design by Loni Stevens) and green ink (Stampin’ Up!).
Layout #3: Everyday You…
Subject/Title: “Every Day You Make Me Laugh”
Technique: Distressing
Journaling: Song lyrics
Background: Patterned paper
Embellishments: Labels
I’m creating a few more layouts with this amazing kit, but I wanted to go ahead and share these.
Stay tuned – and thanks to Gossamer Blue for sponsoring Scrapbook Improv! We’ll see you next month on Feb. 27.
Edited:
Here are two more layouts created with Gossamer Blue’s kit:
Layout #4: Related!?
Product notes: everything on layout came from the GB Jan. kit, with the exception of the letter stickers (Thickers/American Crafts) and the twine used on the button (Darice, I think!)
Layout #5: Breathe
Product notes: All products from GB’s Jan. kit.
