Scrapbook Storage: Iris Bins

by Lain Ehmann on September 5, 2010

One of the questions I get asked more than any other is, how do I store my scrapbook supplies? The simple answer is that I have a series of  Iris Storage Bins
that I use to sort by project, by theme, and by manufacturer. I love these bins for several reasons:

  1. They’re flexible – I can make them work for a number of different purposes, in a number of different spaces.
  2. They’re inexpensive. They cost less than $10 each.
  3. They’re large enough to hold a bunch of 12×12 paper, with plenty of room for embellishments and even a few tools.

I can pack up a bin to take to a crop, or just use them to store my goodies at home. Flexible, strong, and cheap. Just what I like! :)

I have and love Iris carts, and am looking forward to trying these as material files for projects I am planning. collecting everything in one place that is dust free and contained so I won’t lose brads or other tiny foofalas is great.

I have two of these Iris carts…one clear for my son and one purple for my daughter. I use them for my “kits” when I go to crops. I just layer my die cuts, flowers, papers, photos, a sketch if I’m using it and I’m ready to put my LOs together!

What a great idea to have one for each child!

I love these as well – so handy for storing letter stickers, just pull off the shelf and dig for what you need. Stores them without destroying them!

Love these! I have the card and I’m so glad this is the one I decided to go with! Keeps paper and supplies dust free and organized and they hold an incredible amount of stuff! Glad to see great minds think alike:-)
