This week, I’m sharing inspiration tips and tricks and behind-the-scenes info about February’s Layout a Day (LOAD) challenge. There’s still time to join in the fun if you’re ready for the challenge of a lifetime! Sign up for LOAD 211 here.
I’ve had a love-hate relationship with Oprah’s “O” magazine, but the part I always read, without fail, is the last page. That’s Oprah’s “What I Know for Sure” essay.
I think a lot about what *I* know for sure. Asking myself that question helps me ground myself and figure out how I really feel and what I really believe.
And with regard to inspiration, here’s what I know for sure:
I know for sure that every idea, scrapbook layout, journaling prompt, sketch, and design you could ever want is already inside you.
Even if you never read another blog…
…Or looked at another magazine…
…Or bought another product…
…Or even took another photo…
…You could still scrapbook. I believe you have it in you to tap into your wellspring of experiences and thoughts, and create every page you could ever desire.
After all, what makes scrapbooking scrapbooking isn’t the products, or the photos, or the page layouts. What makes scrapbooking scrapbooking is YOUR MEMORIES.
And as long as you have those, you’re set.
So give yourself a break. You are creative. You have the whole box of crayons, all 64 colors, already in you.
All you have to do is tap into it. The rest? Those are just details.
P.S. February’s LOAD 211 starts next Tuesday, 2/1. I hope you’ll be joining us to learn that, indeed, “Inspiration is everywhere!” Get more information here.
